RideQuest: It's time to go camping

I have choose June to go camping, I am making a list about the stuff i need to make sure I am not going to have again a nightmare. My daughter bought her new tent and the reservation is ready done. I never forget the first time I went camping, it was a rainy night, but the reservation was done. I couldn't sleep during the night my tent was not water proof and I was peace off by a water drop falling on my air-bed. I advise you to make sure that you get a water proof tent and buy a plastic cover, because many of water proof tent fail it. My sister-in-law took a little tent that she did not fix inside, LOL! Her tent was small (for Kids) the water started to brake inside, and she could not also sleep.

Our neighbors who help us to build our tent size for six, got also in the same situation , the water was all over inside their tent. When people go camping, learn many thing, how they need to be prepare next time for a rainy night and take all the precaution that it need in such case.

That night the wind started to blew strong and my front neighbor tent almost fly away. The ground was humid and soft that the stakes was not stronger enough in the ground to hold their tent.That was a crazy day, next day morning the sky was pretty clear and everyone was talking about the nightmare.

I went to visit my wife niece later and she bought a plastic cover. Her husband ran to the store to buy one. They slept happy like Alice at the wonder land. But one you have experience, go camping is great and easy.
Doing reservation? If you going to camping with children and disable person make sure you reserve your spot near the shower. If you reserve near bathroom they will put you near the blue boxes. They gave to campers the spot around the shower when their camper has all that facilities. Let them know that you need best facility because you have children and disable person.
