Machine needles
Every size of needles is use according the fabric texture.
There is different sizes:
Lightest to Heaviest sizes starting from 8 to 16 and 18 to 19
To sew a fine fabric for example: fine curtain you need and 8 size
and to sew a jean use size 16.
If you use and 8 on heavy fabric will vent or break.
Also It is good to know, what type of thread do you need?
because using a heavy thread on a fine fabric with size 19 needle would
leave holes on your fabrics.
